2021 European Cultural Heritage Summit, 21-24 September, Venice

From 21 to 24 September, Europa Nostra will host a very special 2021 edition of our European Cultural Heritage Summit at the Giorgio Cini Foundation in the World Heritage City of Venice, as part of the series of yearly high-level “rendez-vous” of cultural heritage stakeholders in Europe. The Venice Summit will be a new occasion to celebrate excellence in cultural heritage skills, and to discuss Europe’s recovery and its future, while getting together for the first time after the outbreak of the pandemic.

The Summit will mobilise – through live and online presence – representatives of the wider heritage community from across Europe and beyond, including civil society organisations; local, regional, national and European authorities; international organisations; policy-makers at all levels; young heritage professionals, students as well as heritage volunteers and enthusiasts.

Considering the limitations imposed by the current health crisis, the European Cultural Heritage Summit 2021 will be organised in a hybrid format, bringing together the winners of the European Heritage Awards / Europa Nostra Awards and a selected and limited number of stakeholders on-site while giving the opportunity to a wider audience to engage with the event virtually. Due to the safety measures, the venues have a very limited capacity. Therefore, physical attendance of all Summit events can be upon personal invitation only. However, we highly encourage you to register and follow the European Cultural Heritage Summit 2021 live online, as the main events will be livestreamed here.
