11th edition of European Urban Resilience Forum

The Spanish city of Valencia, European Green Capital for 2024, will host the 11th edition of European Urban Resilience Forum (EURESFO) from 26 to 28 June 2024, at the Palau de la Música.

The 2024 EURESFO will take place in the framework of the Valencia Cities Climate Week, and will gather city representatives, experts, and stakeholders from local and regional institutions. Its aim is to discuss strategies, initiatives, and actions affiliating to climate change adaptation, disaster management, and the cultivation of urban resilience.

This edition will be built around three key thematic streams respectively addressing multilevel governance, cooperation, and the just transition; water resilience and the promotion of the Blue Economy within and beyond the Mediterranean region; and the transformation to resilient, adaptive, and climate-neutral cities and regions. A fourth special thematic stream will focus on Post-conflict Resilience and Recovery.

This event is co-organised by the municipality of Valencia, ICLEI Local Governments for Sustainability and the European Environment Agency (EEA).
