Europa Nostra Events in Belgrade, 17-20 May 2023
To mark the launch of the European Heritage Hub project and the celebration of Europa Nostra’s 60th Anniversary this year, we have organised a rich programme of events and heritage visits in the millennia old European historic city of Belgrade. This programme is organised by Europa Nostra in close collaboration with Europa Nostra Serbia with the support of the European Commission, the Delegation of the European Union to Serbia and the Delphi Economic Forum.
The Group Visits to (Endangered) Heritage Sites in and around Belgrade, the Meeting of the Europa Nostra Council and the Special Concert by the European Union Youth Orchestra will take place on 18 May. On 19 May, the full-day Belgrade Heritage Forum “Rethink, Refuse, Reuse” will demonstrate that Cultural Heritage is a Strategic Resource for Europe and the Western Balkans.
A high-level delegation of Europa Nostra from different European countries, led by our Executive President Hermann Parzinger, will take part in the events.
