MERITA – Concert by Antarja Quartet at Friluftsskolen Open-Air School in Copenhagen

The third MERITA concert organised by Europa Nostra, in close collaboration of Europa Nostra Denmark,  will take place on 25 June 2024 at the Friluftsskolen Open-Air School in Copenhagen. The Antarja String Quartet from Poland will perform ‘Painted by Music,’ a special concert where music and art bring together the pupils with disabilities of the school.

The concert is organised within the framework of MERITA, an online and offline platform that increases the visibility and circulation of 38 young European string quartets, which is co-funded by the European Union. Europa Nostra is one of the 16 members of the consortium coordinated by Le Dimore del Quartetto.

The Friluftsskolen Open-Air School was awarded the European Heritage Award / Europa Nostra Award in 2023, in the category Conservation and Adaptive Reuse.

 

Please note this concert is reserved for children and, therefore, not open to the public.
